Playa Es Cavallet is the most popular gay beach on Ibiza.  Officially a nudist beach, the gay area is furthest away from the car park in front of the (almost) exclusively gay beach restaurant called Chiringay.  This sandy beach tends to get busy around midday with a party atmosphere kicking in from around 4pm in front of Chiringay.

There are plenty of sun loungers and shades available to rent, and an ‘at seat’ drinks and snacks service is provided by Chiringay. Immediately behind the beach are bushy dunes that are popular cruising spots in their own right.

 

How to get there

There are three ways of getting to the beach.  Drive – car parking can be a problem in high season so don’t arrive too late.  Take a bus from Ibiza town.  Take the boat that departs from Figueretas Beach to Es Cavallet every 30 minutes or so during the summer months. Last updated: 03-12-2014
