A little 7-metre strip of gay beach by Ocean Hotel on Double Six Beach in Legian is run by a guy named Putra. It attracts a steady flow of both local and foreign gay guys.
As the sun goes down, the area attracts a much larger mixed but mostly gay, and definitely gay-friendly crowd. It can be difficult to find at first, but the rainbow flags are easy to spot when you know what to look out for. There are chairs and umbrellas for rent and cold drinks available. If you are gay and want to be looked after on the beach, then this is the place to go.
