Batu Belig Beach is located to the north of Seminyak in Bali, close to the W Retreat Hotel.  The gay-cruisy area is centred around a beachfront open-air café where you’ll rainbow flags, tables, chairs and sun loungers.

There’s no lifeguard, and swimming is not recommended due to riptides.  Unlike Seminyak or Legian Beach, there is not a lot going on at Batu Belig, but the beach is great for chilling out and enjoying the sunset.

How to get there

From Seminyak, go north on Sunset Road and turn left on Jalan Petitenget (which becomes Jalan Batu Belig).  Go all the way to the end and turn left to go down the sandy beach area.
